We offer full-body and express spray tans, Slimwave with infrared therapy, facial EMS and Celluskin treatments by zone, all at our salon on Curé-Labelle. Spray tan and lash lift are two of the services our clients mention most often in their Google reviews.
A sunless tan applied over the whole body, in a shade chosen with you for your skin tone and the depth of colour you want. The solution develops on its own: you leave in loose, dark clothing and shower at the time we give you after the session. The colour is even and fades gradually as the skin renews itself.
The same application with a faster solution: you rinse after two to four hours, depending on how deep you want the colour. Handy before a dinner, an event or a trip the same day. The colour keeps developing after the rinse, so it may look light when you step out of the shower.
Slimwave uses electrical muscle stimulation (EMS). Pads are placed on the areas you want to work while you relax under an infrared blanket that gives off gentle heat. A session lasts about thirty to forty-five minutes and can be booked on its own or as a series. Clients use it as part of a body-toning routine. Results vary, and we discuss what to expect before you begin.
Facial EMS uses the same type of muscle stimulation at a much lower intensity, with small pads placed on the face. You will feel light muscle contractions during the short session. It can be booked on its own or as a series, and it can also be paired with a facial.
Celluskin is a device-based body treatment used one zone at a time: stomach, thighs, arms or buttocks. The device is licensed by Health Canada (licence no. 108099) and is used to improve the appearance of skin texture and firmness. Results vary. Before starting, we explain what to expect and whether we would recommend a series.
It depends on your skin and your habits. The colour fades gradually as the skin renews itself; well-moisturized skin holds it longer, and short, lukewarm showers help. Skip exfoliants, long baths and the sauna while it lasts. We go over the full aftercare before you leave.
Exfoliate the day before, especially elbows, knees and ankles, and do any waxing or shaving before rather than after. On the day, arrive with clean, dry skin: no lotion, no deodorant, no perfume. Bring loose, dark clothing and sandals for the trip home. If nails or lash extensions are booked the same day, have them done before the tan.
With the express spray tan, you rinse after two to four hours, depending on the depth of colour you want. The full-body spray tan needs longer to develop; we give you the exact time at the end of the session. Either way, keep that first shower lukewarm, with no soap or washcloth, and pat the skin dry rather than rubbing.
The solution sits on the surface of the skin and involves no UV exposure. Even so, the decision is not ours to make: check with your doctor or midwife first, especially in the first trimester or if you are breastfeeding. With their go-ahead, we adapt the session and take the time it needs.

Clients book it as part of a body-toning routine, either as a single session or a series. It is not a medical treatment or a replacement for exercise, and results vary. We do not perform it during pregnancy, on anyone with a pacemaker or electronic implant, or when a health condition makes the treatment unsuitable. We review those questions before the first session.
