Laser hair removal and IPL in Laval

We offer InMode Triton laser for permanent hair reduction, and Lumecca IPL for the appearance of sun spots and uneven tone. Laser and IPL always begin with a free consultation so we can look at your skin and hair, answer your questions and confirm whether the treatment is appropriate for you.

Laser and IPL

InMode Triton laser hair removal

The laser targets the pigment in the hair to slow its regrowth, session after session, toward permanent hair reduction. It begins with a free consultation, where we assess your skin and hair, confirm whether the treatment suits you, and plan the sessions. Several sessions are needed, spaced according to the zone, and results vary from one person to the next. Device licensed by Health Canada (licence no. 100376).

Laser for men

Laser hair reduction for the back, shoulders, chest or neck also starts with a free consultation. We look at your skin and hair, explain what to expect and plan the sessions with you. Several sessions are normally needed.

Lumecca IPL photorejuvenation

Lumecca IPL is used for photorejuvenation, not hair reduction. It can improve the appearance of sun spots, small visible vessels and uneven tone, most often on the face, neck, chest and hands. It is offered after a consultation so we can assess your skin, explain what to expect and discuss whether more than one session may be needed. It uses the same Health Canada licensed platform as Triton.

Your questions

Laser hair removal, does it hurt?

Most people describe a quick snap of heat with each pulse, sharper on the bikini line and underarms, mild on the legs. Skin is usually a little red and warm for the rest of the day, then calm. Mention any concern at the consultation and we will pace the first session accordingly.

Does laser hair removal permanently remove hair?

The accurate term is permanent hair reduction, not permanent removal. Over a series of sessions, many hairs stop growing and others may come back finer or lighter. Some regrowth is normal, and maintenance sessions may be useful over time. The result depends on your skin, hair colour and the area being treated, which we review during the free consultation.

Laser hair removal for underarms, how many sessions?

Several sessions are usually needed because laser works on hairs during a specific stage of the growth cycle, and not all hairs are in that stage at the same time. We set the schedule based on the area, your skin and your hair. The free consultation gives you a clearer plan before you begin.

Laser hair removal vs IPL?

A laser sends a single wavelength aimed at the pigment in the hair. IPL sends a broader band of light. At Beautique, hair reduction is done with the InMode Triton laser, and the Lumecca IPL is reserved for photorejuvenation of the skin. Bring your questions to the free consultation and we will confirm which applies to you.
