Bridal and event makeup artist in Laval and Montreal

Makeup is where Beautique began. Lisa Giustiniani started at MAC Cosmetics and has worked as a makeup artist for 23 years, both in the salon and for weddings across Laval and Montreal. Today, our team offers event makeup, bridal makeup and private lessons, with false lashes available if you want them. We create each look around your features, your style and the occasion.

Makeup

Full makeup

We prepare the skin and complete the full look, including complexion, eyes, brows and lips. It can be for an evening out, a gala, a photo shoot or prom. Come with a clean face and tell us about your outfit, the occasion and the style you like. A reference photo is welcome, but it is not required.

Extra lashes (false lashes)

False lashes can be added as the final step in a natural or more defined style. They add extra definition to the eyes, especially in photos, and can be removed the same night with a gentle remover. Add them to full or bridal makeup when you book.

Bridal makeup (Laval and Montreal)

For brides in Laval and Montreal. We use the trial to choose the look together, then recreate it on the wedding day with makeup designed to photograph well and last through the celebration. Share the date as soon as you have it so we can plan the timing with you.

Private makeup lesson

One-on-one, with your own kit, for everyday makeup or a particular occasion. Your makeup artist reviews what you own, shows you what suits you, and you repeat each step with her guidance. You leave with a short routine you can do on your own.

Common questions

Prom or bridal makeup: before or after hair?

Hair first, makeup after, so the face is the last thing finished before the dress and the photographs. If your stylist has to come last, we adapt and protect the makeup. Share the morning's schedule when you book and we coordinate with the hair side.

Do I need a bridal makeup trial?

We recommend one. The trial settles the look, tests how it wears on your skin and shows how it reads in photographs. Bring your ideas and a photo of the dress; you leave with a full makeup and the plan for the wedding morning. Book it a few weeks ahead, once the dress and hairstyle are chosen.

How much does bridal makeup cost, and the trial?

Prices are listed on our prices page and do not include taxes. Bridal makeup is the same price whether booked in Laval or Montreal. The bridal trial is not included in the bridal makeup price and is booked separately as its own appointment, so please mention it when you call to book. If bridesmaids or family members would also like makeup, please let us know so we can plan the morning schedule accordingly. Please note: pricing may vary for locations farther outside the Laval and Montreal area, due to additional travel time and expenses.

How long does prom makeup usually take?

The timing depends on the look you choose. We give you the appointment length when you book so you can plan hair, photos and transportation around it. Arrive with a clean, moisturized face and your outfit decided.

How do I do simple, everyday makeup?

That is the purpose of the private lesson. Your makeup artist reviews your kit, keeps what works, suggests what is missing and has you repeat each step until it feels natural. You leave with a short routine for the week and a dressier version for evenings.

Tell us about your event

Call or email us with the date, the type of event and the location, Laval or Montreal. We get back to you during opening hours to set the appointment, and the trial if you are getting married. Prices are on the prices page.
